This certificate is crucial for those new to care and serves as the foundation of our robust induction program.
An extra day is dedicated to Health and Social Care Protocol training in collaboration with the local authority. This training covers:
We encourage our staff to pursue further personal development through a Diploma in Health and Social Care. Additionally, we provide annual refresher training to ensure our team remains updated with the latest practices and standards.
All staff complete the Highfield Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Medication Handling and Administration for Care Settings (RQF). This qualification provides the essential knowledge required for medication handling and administration, ideal for current and prospective care workers. As an approved training centre, we adhere to high standards set by Highfield, a leading awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual.
Additionally, our medication Level 2 training is accredited by Advantage Accreditation, ensuring our training delivery is of high quality and externally validated.
